Felony DUI dismissed just before trial
My DUI was a felony because of prior convictions. The prosecutor made an offer that included a long period in jail. Brian announced he was ready for trial. A few hours before the trial was set to start the prosecutor emailed Brian and wrote, "OK, I'll blink first. I'll dismiss the DUI. I pled guilty to a traffic ticket and left with no felony and no jail.
